En el mundo cada vez más globalizado de hoy, las competencias son importantes. Disponer de una fuerza de trabajo capacitada es fundamental para abrir la puerta a la prosperidad económica y la construcción de sociedades más inclusivas. Este vídeo describe cómo los países pueden ayudar a las personas a adquirir las competencias que necesitan para los trabajos de hoy y de mañana. También destaca una nueva herramienta de recursos para compartir información de fuentes fidedignas sobre lo que funciona en el desarrollo de competencias: La Plataforma Global Público-Privada de Intercambio de Conocimientos.

Como consecuencia, los nuevos títulos de grado y posgrado de la Universitat Politècnica de València incorporan de manera explícita la exigencia de que los estudiantes sean formados en estas competencias y que sea evaluado su nivel de logro.
